The Langham hotel now occupies the former Federal Reserve bank building. The elegance is apparent as soon as you walk in the front entrance. The lobby is bright in uncluttered containing the check-in desk, one of their three restaurants, and multiple seating areas.
The attention to detail is apparent as soon as you walk into your room. The first thing I noticed when I walked into my room was that the bed was turned down and had a welcome note and two pieces of chocolate just waiting for me. Next to the side of the bed was a small white mat and my slippers. There was a coffee maker in the room but instead of the little plastic packets containing plastic stir sticks and powdered creamers, there were individual sweeteners and cream containers along with two actual teaspoons to stir my coffee.
There are three restaurants in the hotel, the Café Fleuri which is on the lobby level, the Bond which is their restaurant and lounge, and the Reserve. The Café Fleuri is open for breakfast and lunch and on Saturday has a chocolate bar, and on Sunday has a Sunday brunch. The Reserve has breakfast to go, food items available all day long, afternoon tea, and champagne and wine. The Bond has a global cuisine, distinctive cocktails, and is one of Boston’s hottest nightspots.
The spa is named Chuan Body and Soul and offers what you do expect from a high-end spa.
The hotel is located in downtown Boston and is surrounded by restaurants, stores, and historical sites all within a short walking distance.
I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking to pamper yourself and see the sights of Boston. Check out my photos below. Enjoy.
